Paletta on his way to Torino?

Gabriel Paletta could be on his way to Torino after a good season at Milan, according to multiple sources in Italy, with the Granata looking for an experienced centre back this summer to strengthen their weak defence.

The 29-year old confirmed that he intends to leave Milan this transfer window due to worries over playing time next season, stirred by the highly anticipated arrival of  Mateo Mussacchio who looks to start alongside Alessio Romagnoli next season.

Torino want to strengthen their defence next season, after conceding an astounding 66 goals in the 2016/17 serie a season, more than any other team in the top 10. Paletta is deemed the right man by the Granata, with his experience expected to solidify the core of their defence.

Furthermore, SportItalia say that Paletta is willing to move to Torino with a contract expected to be offered at the end of the week.

Paletta has had a solid season with Milan putting in several strong performances with the Rossoneri. However, his ill discipline damaged his reputation, with 5 red cards last season, the joint most in a single Serie A season.
