Paris Saint-Germain leading race for Arsenal attacker
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ahead of Manchester City in the queue to sign Arsenal contract rebel Alexis Sanchez next year. The Chile international is certain to leave the north London giants when his contract expires next summer.
Sanchez was close to joining the Citizens during the recently concluded transfer window, but the £60m move could not go through due to the Gunners' inability to sign a replacement.
City have since been tipped to sign Sanchez either in January or at the end of the season, but according to The Sun, Les Parisiens are front-runners to pursue the in-demand forward.
It is added that the French giants are willing to part ways with Edinson Cavani in the future in order to compensate for Sanchez's arrival at Parc des Princes.
Neymar recently had an on-field disagreement with Cavani over a penalty kick versus Lyon which the Uruguayan missed, and this has since created uncertainty over the striker's position in Paris.
