Fernando Torres heaps praise on Alvaro Morata
Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres has heaped praise on Alvaro Morata following an excellent start to his Chelsea career.
The former Real Madrid joined the Blues for a club-record £60m in the summer, and he has since notched six goals in many league games.
Prior to Atleti's game versus Chelsea, Torres talked about his compatriot Morata, who has quickly adapted to Premier League football.
"I spoke with him before he joined Chelsea and told him I would be always on the phone if he needed any advice or if I could help him," Torres told The Mirror.
"Looking at the start he has made it doesn't look like he needs any advice at all - already he is playing well and scoring goals."
Torres also described Morata as 'one of the best strikers' in Europe, and he expects Chelsea to offer a strong challenge for the Champions League crown this term.
Morata notched his maiden Chelsea hat-trick in the 4-0 thumping of Stoke City over the weekend, and the Atleti backline will have to be on guard for their Champions League outing against the Blues tonight.
The 24-year-old has also established himself as the leading marksman in the Spain ranks with Diego Costa having lost his spot due to his antics at Stamford Bridge.
