Confirmed Lineups: Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid, Eden Hazard starts
Belgian international Eden Hazard has been handed his first Champions League start of the season against Atletico Madrid tonight. The attacker has largely been used as a substitute this term with Antonio Conte cautious after his injury comeback.
Apart from Hazard, Cesc Fabregas has been recalled to the starting lineup with Pedro and Willian making way for the aforementioned duo. Alvaro Morata also gets to lead the line ahead of Michy Batshuayi following his weekend hat-trick against Stoke City.
Other than that, David Luiz returns to the three-man backline after missing out on the Stoke trip, where he served the first game of his three-match suspension - for his straight red card against Arsenal.
Chelsea: Thibaut Courtois; Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Gary Cahill; Victor Moses, Marcos Alonso; N'Golo Kante, Tiemoue Bakayoko; Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard; Alvaro Morata
Atletico Madrid: Jan Oblak; Juanfran, Diego Godin, Luis Hernandez, Filipe Luis; Koke, Thomas Partey, Saul Niguez, Yannick Carrasco; Angel Correa, Antoine Griezmann
