Karim Benzema still keen on Arsenal move?
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has once again emerged as a transfer target for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. The France international has made a slow start to the current season with just a solitary goal in five appearances.
Benzema, 29, penned a fresh four-year deal with the European champions earlier last month, but this has not cooled speculation linking him with the north London club.
According to Don Balon, the France international could be offloaded in the near future with president Florentino Perez looking to add a new marksman to the Bernabeu ranks.
The report goes further to state that the Gunners have made an offer for the former Lyon graduate, and the striker would prefer to work alongside manager Arsene Wenger.
Benzema currently has more than three years left on his present deal and the speculation undoubtedly comes as a huge surprise with Zinedine Zidane a huge admirer of Benzema's talents.
The experienced striker has amassed over 180 goals for the Spanish giants since making the switch from Lyon more than eight years ago.
