Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-2-1) vs Red Star Belgrade, Giroud and Wilshere start
Arsenal will seek to return to winning ways when they take on Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League on Tuesday night. The Gunners recently suffered a 2-1 league defeat to Watford, and Arsene Wenger will want a reaction from his side in Belgrade - prior to this weekend's trip to Everton.
Lineup ( 3-4-2-1):
David Ospina has been the Gunners' first-choice goalkeeper for the Cup and Europa League games, and he is certain to start in goal. Laurent Koscielny sustained a minor muscle strain in the Watford loss, and Wenger is unlikely to risk him for Belgrade. With this in mind, Rob Holding looks the probable candidate to partner Per Mertesacker and Nacho Monreal at the heart of the backline.
Young graduates Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have started alongside each other in the games against Doncaster Rovers and BATE Borisov, and Wenger could continue with the combination for the right wing-back and left wing-back positions respectively.
Onto the midfield, both Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka will surely be rested for the midweek game, and this sees Mohamed Elneny and Jack Wilshere as genuine starters to start. Francis Coquelin is also back to full fitness, but the Frenchman could feature from the bench.
Moving forward, Theo Walcott is a certain starter after his brace against BATE and he could be accompanied by Joe Willock, who earned his European debut in the previous outing. Olivier Giroud bagged his 100th goal via a penalty at Borisov, and he will be determined to contribute once more in a testing environment at the Rajko Mitić Stadium.
Arsenal lineup: Ospina, Holding, Mertesacker, Monreal, Nelson, Maitland-Niles, Wilshere, Elneny, Walcott, Willock, Giroud
