David Moyes to replace Slaven Bilic?
David Moyes is reportedly the leading candidate to takeover the managerial reigns from Slaven Bilic at West Ham United. The Hammers have endured a difficult season under the Croatian, and they currently find themselves just a point above the drop zone.
The east London side suffered their second consecutive defeat at the London Stadium after Liverpool ran out 4-1 victors courtesy of a standout performance from Mohamed Salah.
Following the game, Bilic admitted that he faces a 'very difficult situation' heading into the international break, and according to The Telegraph, the club are considering a replacement.
West Ham generally wait until the off-season to make managerial decisions, but they appear to have had a change of thought with Bilic struggling to motivate the squad.
As per The Telegraph, Moyes is the number one candidate to replace Bilic, and he could potentially receive a contract until the end of the current campaign.
Moyes has had unsuccessful spells with Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland since his Everton exit, but he is still regarded as the prime choice with the Hammers looking to turn their fortunes around.
