Jack Wilshere attracting La Liga interest
Jack Wilshere attracting La Liga interest
Spanish side Real Betis could reportedly revive their interest in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere during the winter transfer window.
The England international had been linked with a potential switch to Betis in the summer, but he snubbed their advances in order to stay put at the Emirates.
Wilshere has since managed just two substitute appearances in the Premier League, and he has yet to negotiate terms over a fresh contract beyond next summer.
According to The Sun, Betis are prepared to discuss a cut-price deal for Wilshere in January, should the Gunners be willing to offload the midfielder. The La Liga outfit are also open to the possibility of offering a pre-contract with a view to a Bosman move at the end of the 2017/18 season.
Wilshere has largely featured in the League Cup and Europa League games this term, and he looks unlikely to break into the England national side unless he gets regular Premier League action under Arsene Wenger.
