Tottenham Hotspur eyeing winter swoop for West Ham attacker?
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly plotting a winter attempt to sign West Ham United playmaker Manuel Lanzini. The Argentine had been the subject of a failed approach from Everton last summer.
According to The Mirror, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add his compatriot to his already star-studded squad as he aims to compete on four all fronts this term.
Lanzini has been one of the Hammers' leading performers since his initial loan move from Al Jazira in 2015, and the east London club are likely to play hardball over transfer negotiations in the New Year.
The 24-year-old has contributed 15 goals in 67 appearances for the club managed by David Moyes, while he also made his mark for Argentina with his maiden cap versus Brazil earlier in June.
Lanzini had struggled with a knee problem during the early part of the season, but he has since notched one goal and two assists in seven matches across all competitions.
