Not Mahrez, Liverpool interested in signing Leicester City ace

Liverpool have reportedly identified Wilfred Ndidi as a potential transfer option as they seek to reinforce their midfield department during the summer transfer window.
The Merseyside giants are bracing themselves for the departure of Emre Can on a free transfer, and this appears to have highlighted the need for a new enforcer, irrespective of their agreement to sign RB Leipzig's Naby Keita.
Guinean journalist Alpha Balde was the first to reveal Liverpool's transfer approach for Keita earlier in the summer, and he has now claimed that the Reds have made initial contact with Ndidi's representatives over a possible switch to Anfield.
The Nigeria international was previously a transfer target for league rivals Arsenal prior to his Leicester City move back in January 2017, and a strong World Cup performance could potentially increase the interest among his suitors.
Hence, Jurgen Klopp's side are likely to approach prior to the global tournament, and it will be interesting to see whether they can sort out a deal with the Foxes, who have tended to play hard ball over player valuations of late.
