Liverpool target West Ham attacker as Coutinho replacement

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly looking into a deal for West Ham United's Manuel Lanzini. The Argentina international has been earmarked as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who left the Reds for Barcelona during the January transfer window.
The Reds have performed incredibly well since the departure of Coutinho, but Klopp is still keen on pursuing another attacking recruit, should one of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino or Mohamed Salah suffer a dip in form or succumb to an injury in the future.
According to Argentine outlet Diario Ole, Lanzini has been identified as the perfect options to fill the void, but the Reds may have a tough time convincing the attacker to leave the London Stadium.
The 25-year-old has recently cited that he is 'very happy' at the Hammers with his performances having earned him a regular role with the Argentine national side.
Lanzini was on the scoresheet for Jorge Sampaoli's men on Friday night as they secured a 2-0 triumph over Italy in an international friendly at the Etihad Stadium.
