James Rodriguez to make permanent Bayern Munich move
James Rodriguez to make permanent Bayern Munich move
Colombian international forward James Rodriguez, who set the world on fire during the World Cup in Brazil in 2014, has agreed a permanent transfer from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich. The player struggled during his time in La Liga but seems to have reversed his fortunes since making a move to the Bundesliga.
Rodriguez will sign a permanent contract with Bayern Munich in a deal that has been made easier having seen Douglas Costa leave Bavaria for Juventus in Serie A.
The club president of Bayern, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, confirmed that a deal had been agreed with Real Madrid for a permanent transfer and the player will be unveiled officially this summer.
"We will exercise the €42m option, thanks to Carlo Ancelotti for this great deal", said Rummenigge.
According to multiple reports, Bayern Munich have beaten PSG, AC Milan and Man Utd to the signing of Rodriguez, both of whom were late entrants into the transfer race to sign the talented forward.
