Alvaro Morata on the move?

Juventus are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata on a two-year loan deal with the option of a permanent move thereafter.

The Spain international joined the Blues for a club-record £60m fee from Real Madrid last summer and made a strong start to his career with eight goals in his opening nine games.

However, the goals have since dried up for the two-time Champions League winner and he has managed just a solitary league goal since the turn of the year.

According to The Star, the Bianconeri may offer Morata with an escape route during the summer, although they are not prepared to discuss a straight cash offer.

As such, the Serie A holders have planned to propose a two-year loan deal worth £15m for Morata with the obligation to a permanent £40m move at the end of his temporary stay.

Chelsea have previously sanctioned the sale of Juan Cuadrado to the Turin giants in a similar sort of agreement and they could be tempted by Juventus' offer, considering Morata's poor finishing in front of goal this term.
