West Ham United favourites to sign Huddersfield midfielder

West Ham United are reportedly leading the race to sign Huddersfield Town midfielder Aaron Mooy ahead of this summer's transfer window.
The Australia international has been a consistent performer for Huddersfield since his switch from Manchester City and he is now supposedly attracting some big club interest.
According to The Times, the Hammers are heading the queue to sign Mooy this summer and they are prepared to double the midfielder's £32,000-a-week wages.
Mooy initially joined the Terriers on a season-long loan from the Citizens last season and played a key role in their promotion from the Championship.
As a result, he earned a permanent deal with Huddersfield last summer after they managed to fend off interest from  the likes of Southampton and Brighton.
Aside from Mooy, Huddersfield may also have a task of keeping hold of manager David Wagner who has been earmarked as a possible option to succeed Claude Puel at Leicester City.
Huddersfield secured their top-flight status on Wednesday night after they played out a 1-1 draw against Chelsea. They host Arsenal in their last league game of the season.
