Alex Sandro keen on Manchester United deal

Juventus defender Alex Sandro is reportedly said to be pushing for a move to Manchester United and the deal could be finalised shortly after the Red Devils' FA Cup final against Chelsea this weekend.

The Brazil international has been associated with the Red Devils over the past few months and according to The Times, he is seemingly keen on joining Jose Mourinho's side during the summer transfer window.

United boss Jose Mourinho has previously highlighted that he is content with Ashley Young plying his trade on the left side of the defence but the Portuguese is still looking into a new competitor.

As per The Times, the Bianconeri are not prepared to accept anything less than £50m for their left-sided defender but this won't hamper United's plans as they seek to close the gap on league champions Manchester City.

Any new arrival may influence the summer exits of Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind, though Luke Shaw could have a future after putting in notable performances of late.
