German giants eyeing summer deal for Alvaro Morata
German outfit Borussia Dortmund are reportedly weighing up an attempt to sign Alvaro Morata from Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Bundesliga club sold Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal prior to the winter transfer deadline, but they did manage to secure the signature of Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi on loan.
Batshuayi followed to have an instant success with the club as he contributed seven goals in just 10 league appearances but he is due to return to Stamford Bridge during the summer.
According to Bild, the German side are now eyeing a surprise move for Morata, who has struggled to find his feet during his maiden season in the Premier League.
It is added that the club could be prepared to bid in excess of £52m for the Spaniard whilst assuring him of Champions League football which the Blues won't be able to offer next season.
Ex-club Juventus are also keen on pursuing Morata's services, though any decision on his future is only expected to be made after the club sort out the position of Antonio Conte.
