Unai Emery to offer Arsenal lifeline to Lucas Perez?
Arsenal have reportedly told Lucas Perez to return to pre-season training at the club with manager Unai Emery prepared to revive his Gunners career.
The Spaniard made the switch to the Emirates Stadium from Deportivo in the summer of 2016 but struggled to win over ex-boss Arsene Wenger, who restricted him to just two Premier League starts.
As a result, the 29-year-old opted for a return to A Coruna on a season-long loan last summer but he could not find much success in a disappointing campaign where his hometown club were relegated from the Spanish La Liga.
According to Eldesmarque, Emery could now be prepared to offer a second chance to the versatile forward after having previously admired his services during his time in Paris.
Paris Saint-Germain were supposedly keen on signing Perez when Emery first arrived at the club but the Gunners moved forward to trigger the player's £17m release clause ahead of them.
