Lyon president confirms talks with Jose Mourinho
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that he had held a long discussion with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho earlier in the month.
The Red Devils are said to hold an interest in signing Tanguy Ndombele and Nabil Fekir from Les Gones this summer but Aulas only appeared to reveal the decisions, he said: "I was with Jose Mourinho the other day. We had long discussions."
Ndombele has been touted as a possible target to bolster the United midfield during the ongoing transfer window and there are claims that a £43m fee could be sufficient to do business for the Frenchman.
On the other hand, his compatriot Fekir has also emerged as a surprise target for United after failing to seal his move to Liverpool this month.
Fekir had been on the cusp of joining the Reds but the deal was scuppered at the last hurdle amid concerns over his injury record much earlier in his career.
