Lloris expects Pogba to shine

France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has said that he expects midfielder Paul Pogba to show his talent as the World Cup advances.

France will face Uruguay in the quarter-final of the ongoing World Cup in Russia, and it is expected that the Manchester United midfielder will be a key factor if Les Blues will make it to the semi-final for the first time since the 2006 World Cup.

"I think that these big competitions are also good to reveal the talent of players and I'm sure it's going to be the case for Paul," he said, Sky Sports reports.

The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper also said that the former Juventus midfielder is improving his game with his exploits with Juventus and Manchester United.

Prior to the World Cup, Pogba was criticized for his performances, but the midfielder has risen above those criticism to help the French reach the quarter-final of the competition.

Pogba has not been the only midfielder doing the job for France as the tireless N'Golo Kanté has been one of the best players for France.

With the likes of Pogba and Kante in midfield for the French, the Uruguayans are going to have a really hard time in midfield on Friday.
