Real Madrid want Chelsea star to replace Ronaldo?
Real Madrid have highlighted Chelsea forward Eden Hazard as one of the candidates to replace outbound star Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
Ronaldo is apparently on the verge of making a surprise switch to Juventus this month and according to Tuttomercatoweb, the Blues attacker tops the list of targets to replace the Portugal international.
Nevertheless, Los Blancos are said to have a contingency plan in place and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi and Bayern Munich centre-forward Roberto Lewandowski are also being considered to strengthen the attack front ahead of next season.
As things stand, the European champions are expected to sanction the sale of Ronaldo to Juventus and Sport Mediaset suggests a deal worth £88m could be finalised by Tuesday.
Former side Manchester United are said to have made a late attempt to pursue the five-time Champions League winner, only to be told that the Bianconeri deal is in motion.
