Lazio keen on signing Arsenal winger

Serie A side Lazio have expressed an interest in signing Arsenal outcast Joel Campbell this summer. The 26-year-old has been with the Gunners for the past seven seasons, although he has managed just 40 appearances across all competitions.

As a result, his future is in serious doubt heading into the final year of his Gunners contract and according to Bola VIP, Lazio are prepared to make a move for the Costa Rica international.

Campbell had work permit issues during his initial career with the Gunners and he had to wait until the 2014/15 season in order to make his competitive debut for the team.

He thereafter enjoyed a decent 2015/16 campaign under ex-boss Arsene Wenger but he has since been out of favour with his gametime coming in the form of loan spells with Sporting and Real Betis.

Aside from Campbell, Lazio have also expressed an interest in signing Lucas Perez but his agent has suggested that he may stay put at the Emirates for the upcoming campaign.
