Manchester United in talks to sign Croatian World Cup attacker

Manchester United are in advanced talks with Ivan Perisic about a possible move to Old Trafford, according to Mirror Football.

The Inter Milan attacker has been in great form for Croatia at the ongoing World Cup in Russia, scoring the equaliser as his side came from behind to beat England in the semi-final.

United are reportedly keen to strike a deal to bring him to Old Trafford, and it is being reported that the players' representatives will fly to England to discuss a possible deal with United.

Negotiations could be concluded before the end of the weekend because United travel to the United States of America to begin their pre-season tour.

United have also been linked with a move for Perisic's compatriot, Ante Rebic, who has also been part of Croatia's energetic and conquering World Cup squad.

The two players are both expected to feature to face France in the final of the World Cup, and they will be hoping to ensure that current United midfielder Paul Pogba fails to win the tournament after losing Euro 2016.
