France World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe has dismissed the prospect of leaving Paris Saint-Germain for a new challenge during the ongoing transfer window.

The 19-year-old became the first teenager to score in a World Cup final since Pele in 1958 as Les Bleus registered a 4-2 win over Croatia on Sunday evening.

Since then, there has been plenty of talk of Mbappe heading to Real Madrid to take up the position of former player Cristiano Ronaldo but the Frenchman has stressed that he is keen to remain at Parc des Princes.

"I will stay with PSG, continuing on my path with them," he told reporters following the final at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. "I am at the beginning of my career."

Paris Saint-Germain are understood to have paid a fee of around £166m to make Mbappe's deal permanent from AS Monaco and this makes him the second most-expensive signing in the world after Neymar.
