Premier League trio in for Bernard
Premier League trio Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton could vie for the services of Bernard, who is available on a free transfer after his exit from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Brazil international spent the past five seasons with Shakhtar where he made over 150 appearances across all competitions but he decided against extending his contract beyond the 2017/18 season.
According to Premium Sport, Bernard has already turned down moves to multiple Italian clubs and he has now set his sights on making a switch to the Premier League.
Liverpool are deemed to hold an interest in Bernard despite the recent signing of Xherdan Shaqiri while Arsenal boss Unai Emery may regard the Brazilian as a cost-cut option with the club operating with a restricted budget.
Everton, on the other hand, may be able to discuss the highest signing-on fee among the trio, given Marco Silva has yet to pursue a new recruit in the ongoing transfer window.
