Tiemoue Bakayoko heading for Chelsea exit?

Tiemoue Bakayoko could be offered an escape route from Chelsea with AC Milan said to have expressed an interest in acquiring his signature.

The France international joined the Blues from Monaco last summer after starring for the Principality outfit during their maiden title triumph since 2000.

However, he could not quite his performances at Stamford Bridge and he was the subject of severe criticism from the fans over the course of the previous campaign.

According to Gianluca di Marzio, the Rossoneri are keen to bolster the centre of the park and Bakayoko is one of the players under consideration with the other being Red Bull Salzburg's Diadie Samassekou.

Bakayoko has featured in both of Chelsea's pre-season friendlies under new head coach Maurizio Sarri but on each occasion, he has come off the substitutes' bench.

The Frenchman is presently behind Cesc Fabregas and summer signing Jorginho in the pecking order and his gametime is likely to be restricted further when N'Golo Kante rejoins the squad in the coming weeks.
