Roy Hodgson gives update on Wilfried Zaha's transfer situation
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has said that winger Wilfried Zaha has not indicated that he wants to leave the club.
Zaha has been linked with a move out of Selhurst Park, with Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea touted as possible destinations.
"I spoke to Wilf yesterday and he certainly gave me no indication that he wanted to quit the club," the former England boss said, Mirror Football reports.
Hodgson went ahead to say that he hopes the player stays and that he will be happy to continue their working relationship.
Zaha has reportedly said he wants a move away from the club and favours a big money move to Chelsea. He turned down a £120-a-week deal in July in order to ensure a move out of the club.
The former Manchester United winger made 29 appearances last season, scoring 9 goals and assisting 3. Zaha was instrumental to Palace's 11th place finish in the English Premier League last season, making him a player they most definitely want to keep.
