Mourinho to make deadline day move for Leicester defender?
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is plotting a deadline day move for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, The Express reports.
United have been looking for a central defender with Maguire one of the top targets.
According to reports, United had switched attention away from the England international with the Old Trafford side agreeing personal terms with Yerry Mina of Barcelona.
Maguire has revealed that he is an ambitious player that would like to take his career to a high level, but he has not indicated that he wants to leave Leicester at the moment.
Leicester reportedly want £80m for Maguire and United are willing to sell £20m defender Marcos Rojo to finance the deal.
After a wonderful performance at the World Cup in Russia, there is probably no better time for the former Hull City player to take the step up in his career.
With few days to the deadline, it remains to be seen if United will be able to snatch him before the close of the transfer window.
