Arsenal interested in Croatian defender
Arsenal could reportedly lodge an attempt to sign Domagoj Vida from Besiktas this summer, provided they manage to offload one of Shkodran Mustafi or Danny Welbeck.
According to The Sun, the Gunners are said to hold a keen interest in signing the central defender, who was one of the star performers for Croatia at the recent World Cup.
However, their pursuit could depend entirely on potential departures with Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck tipped to head through the exit door before the transfer deadline.
Mustafi has featured regularly for the Gunners during pre-season but manager Unai Emery is not entirely convinced over the centre-back's ability.
On the other hand, Welbeck is currently on vacation following his World Cup exploits with England but he could be headed for an exit with Everton among his admirers.
Vida has previously attracted interest from Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool but they were put off from making an offer after getting to know of Besiktas' £25m price tag.
