Tammy Abraham heading for Chelsea exit?
Tammy Abraham could leave Chelsea on a temporary basis for the campaign with Sampdoria leading the race for his signature.
The 20-year-old spent the previous campaign on loan with Swansea City where he contributed eight goals but his efforts were not sufficient to help the club beat the drop.
Abraham has since participated for the Blues during pre-season but with the new campaign having begun, he appears likely to join an overseas club on a temporary deal.
According to Sport Italia, Sampdoria are leading the pursuit of the Blues graduate and they are hopeful of signing him before their transfer window concludes on Friday.
Abraham has also been linked with a potential switch to the Championship this month and that could be the case, should Sampdoria fail to convince the striker to head to the Serie A.
Chelsea have been busy sanctioning loan exits since the transfer deadline and the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Kurt Zouma have left the club over the past week.
