Former Spurs player thinks Arsenal will find things difficult
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas has said that he thinks Arsenal will find things difficult this season.
His comment is coming after Arsenal's opening day defeat to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva made sure the Gunners' season started on a bad note.
Speaking to Express Sport, he said: “I think Arsenal are going to find it difficult. I think playing against Manchester City will have opened his (Unai Emery) eyes a little bit as to what the top end of the Premier League is about."
Arsenal will not be playing in the UEFA Champions League this season after failing to finish in the top four last term, and Emery has been brought to take the Gunners back to the elite competition among other things.
A good number of signings were made towards achieving success this season, but the Gunners looked far from a side that can get back to Europe with their display against the Citizens.
Emery's men looked very open, and were prevented from conceding more goals by the heroics of goalkeeper Petr Cech.
