Alexandre Lacazette linked with shock Arsenal exit

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has been linked with a shock exit from the Emirates Stadium before the transfer window closes across Europe.

The 27-year-old started just four of the final 12 league games for Arsenal last season with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang preferred ahead of him in the pecking order, and the situation has been quite the same this term with all three of his appearances coming off the bench.

Amidst this, Le10Sport has now claimed that the Frenchman is pushing for a probable departure from the north London side before European transfer window closes on Friday.

It is added that a number of sides have already enquired regarding the striker's availability but the Gunners are desperate to keep hold of his services until January at the least.

The speculation would certainly come as a huge surprise to the Gunners faithful, given Lacazette only recently admitted that he is relishing the challenge of working under Emery.

Lacazette has impressed with cameo roles in the first three games of the campaign and it may not come as a surprise, if he makes the starting lineup for the away trip to Cardiff City this weekend.
