Paul Pogba news

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been named as one of Barcelona's transfer targets ahead of the transfer window next summer, according to reports.

According to the Sun, he is being targeted alongside Ajax player Frenkie de Jong, and PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Pogba has been linked to Barcelona this summer, but the La Liga champions have given up on signing him before Friday's transfer deadline.

Barcelona will continue to keep tabs on the World Cup winner as his third season in his second spell with United progresses.

Pogba has featured in United's three Premier League games this season, scoring twice from the penalty spot.

He played the full 90 minutes as United were beaten 3-0 by Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

Meanwhile, according to NOS, Frenkie de Jong has said that he could join Barcelona in the future, but maintained that it will not be this year.

His comment is coming at a time when reports in Spain claim that Barcelona are confident they can sign the player next summer.
