Danny Rose responds to transfer speculation
Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has admitted that he could stay put with the north London side beyond the European transfer deadline on Friday.
The England international was not involved in the opening two games of the Premier League campaign but he made his comeback during the Manchester United clash where Spurs won by a comfortable 3-0 scoreline.
In a report covered by The Mirror, Rose has now indicated that he may not pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere and he is expecting to remain at Spurs beyond the current month.
"I'm good. I'm not listening to the speculation about my future. If I'm here past Friday, which I'm expecting to be, it will be great. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve at the end of the season," he said.
Rose was linked with both Paris Saint-Germain and Schalke 04 during the early phase of the summer transfer window but the pair are said to have dropped out of the race after knowing of Spurs' hefty £50m valuation.
