Andrea Pirlo speaks on Paul Pogba transfer speculation

Italy legend Andrea Pirlo has said that he would not be surprised to see Paul Pogba return to former side Juventus.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Manchester United, with Barcelona and Juventus interested in the World Cup winner.

"I would not be surprised to see Paul at Juventus," he told Tuttosport, Manchester Evening News reports.

Pirlo who is retired was recently offered a chance by Australian semi-pro side Avondale FC to come out of retirement, but he has reportedly turned it down.

Pogba on the other hand has done little to end speculation about his future after recently saying that anything can happen regarding a transfer away from United after this season.

Pogba is into his third season in his second spell at United, and he could push for a move away from Old Trafford next summer with his agent reportedly promising a move away from United after just three years.

He is expected to feature for United when they face Watford on Saturday.
