Serie A giants step up their interest in Aaron Ramsey
AC Milan are reportedly planning to step up their pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey following Ivan Gazidis' switch to the San Siro.
The Gunners chief executive has recently confirmed that he will be joining the Rossoneri in December after being offered a lucrative deal from the club's new owners.
According to Football.London, Gazidis' first task at the Rossoneri would be to lure Ramsey from the Emirates Stadium with his existing deal due to expire at the end of the campaign.
Ramsey has been in a contract standoff with the north Londoners over the past six months and there appears no breakthrough in terms of the negotiations in recent weeks.
Aside from Milan, Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the Welshman, whom the Gunners may offload on a cut-price deal in January, should an extension fail to be finalised.
Ramsey was not included in the matchday squad for the 4-2 Europa League triumph over Vorskla but he is expected to return to the fray for the weekend league meeting against Everton.
