Manchester United have already decided Jose Mourinho's fate
Manchester United will reportedly dismiss Jose Mourinho from the head coach role in the next 48 hours regardless of the outcome of the Premier League clash against Newcastle United.
The Portuguese tactician has had pressure mounting on his shoulders with every game this term with the club having experienced their worst start to a campaign in nearly three decades.
Amidst this, the 55-year-old has been involved in heated discussions with a number of players within the United squad and according to The Mirror, he is now lost the confidence of the club's hierarchy.
It is added that Mourinho has reached a point of no return after his divisive approach through the opening weeks and he is expected to be sacked regardless of the result acquired against the Magpies tomorrow.
At present, United do not have a suitable replacement on hand but Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward's prime candidate to succeed Mourinho.
