Arsenal receive key fitness boost for Fulham clash
Arsenal have received a key fitness boost for the Fulham game with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being deemed fit to return following an illness which hampered him during the week.
The Gabon international did not travel alongside his teammates for the Europa League trip to Qarabag on Thursday night and there were suggestions that he could be a doubt for the London derby on Sunday.
However, in a report covered by the club's official website, the 29-year-old has been declared fit for the encounter after making a swift return to training following his illness.
With Aubameyang back in contention, the likes of Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi may once again drop to the bench with Emery likely to rely on the same team which brought about a win over Watford last weekend.
Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League with 15 points but they have the chance to jump into the top-four positions, should they secure a resounding win at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
