PSG considering move for David De Gea
PSG considering move for David De Gea
Man Utd goalkeeper David De Gea is on a shortlist of targets being pulled together by Paris St Germain for the January transfer window. The Spanish goalkeeper, considered by many to be the best shot stopper in the world, has indicated that he would like to extend his contract at Old Trafford but also admitted that a move away could be better a option for his career.
Real Madrid were long-term admirers of De Gea, but their recent signing of Thibaut Courtois seems to end all hope the club had of securing a move for Man Utd's number 1.
PSG are said to be monitoring De Gea's situation closely and even weighing up the possibility of a world record breaking transfer fee of 100 million euros to sign the keeper.
The Daily Mail reports that De Gea is ready to leave Manchester United in search of a fresh challenge and that Spain is his preferred destination, but PSG's abundance of cash and the opportunity to work with manager Thomas Tuchel could be difficult to resist.
