Liverpool boss confirms double injury blow for Arsenal clash
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he won't be able to bank on the services of Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita when the Reds make the Premier League trip to Arsenal this weekend.
The Reds have been nearly perfect since the season started and a run of eight victories and two draws see them within goal difference of table-toppers Manchester City.
Speaking ahead of the Arsenal game, Klopp confirmed that both Keita and Henderson have yet to return to first-team training and they are expected to miss the trip to north London.
“Hendo feels really good but it will be probably the start of the week when he will be back in training. Naby [will be the] end of this week. It doesn’t make a big difference match-wise, but that’s how it looks," he is quoted as saying by the club's website.
Liverpool have had the better of Arsenal in the previous six meetings with three wins and three draws and they should fancy their prospects of maintaining the unbeaten run with the superior defensive record this term.
