Chelsea make transfer decision over Aaron Ramsey

Chelsea are said to have second thoughts regarding a potential move for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey at the end of the current campaign.

The Welshman has been told that his Gunners contract won't be extended beyond the season and he is widely expected to leave on a free when his deal concludes in eight months' time.

Amidst this, Chelsea have been one among the many Premier League clubs linked but according to The Star, they are planning to withdraw their interest in the soon-to-be free agent.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri had been keen on pursuing another attacking midfielder at the turn of the year but the form of the current set of players seems to have changed his thought.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley have been among those who have stepped up to the plate in recent matches and Sarri is said to believe that a move for Ramsey may not be beneficial.
