Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay a fee in the region of £35m to tempt Bournemouth to part ways with in-form striker Callum Wilson.

The 26-year-old has managed to get over his injury woes this campaign and he has been in good form with six goals and four assists already in the top-flight.

According to The Sun, the Blues have been keeping tabs on the striker's proceedings in the South Coast and they could be prepared to make an approach when the transfer window reopens.

Despite this, Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has not given any hint that he may seek to bolster his squad at the turn of the year and any decision may depend on how Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud perform in the forthcoming months.

Both marksmen started the season in a relatively slow note but Morata has picked up form since October with five goals coming from his previous six appearances for the Blues.

Wilson recently bagged his maiden call-up to the England national side and he should fancy his prospects of making his debut after the rather unfortunate ankle injury to compatriot Danny Welbeck.
