Chile international Alexis Sanchez has reportedly made his mind up to leave Manchester United in January after failing to meet the club's requirements since joining them from Arsenal last winter.

Sanchez has managed just four goals for the Red Devils in nearly 30 appearances and he was dropped by manager Jose Mourinho last month after a slow start to the season.

The attacker has recently his starting position in recent weeks amid an injury concern to Romelu Lukaku but according to The Times, he has already signalled his agent to look for a fresh challenge elsewhere.

Sanchez is said to be unsettled with life in the North-West and besides that, his connection with some of the first-team players remain non-existent with Romelu Lukaku, David de Gea and Juan Mata only among those in communication with him outside the playing field.

Paris Saint-Germain are currently deemed the favourites to lure Sanchez from Old Trafford in January, having previously sought to sign him before pursuing Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in big-money deals last year.

The French champions are capable of coming close to the player's £500,000-a-week wages at Old Trafford but it remains to be seen whether the United board are willing to sanction a mid-season sale.
