Marko Arnautovic's agent hints at January move
Marko Arnautovic's brother and representative Danijel has said that the Austrian may consider a fresh challenge from West Ham United when the transfer window reopens.
The Austria international was constantly linked with a move to Manchester United last summer, though a deal never came to fruition.
Arnautovic joined the Hammers from Stoke City during the summer of 2017 and he initially made a slow start to the proceedings under former boss Slaven Bilic.
However, under the tutelage of David Moyes, he happened to enjoy success in terms of goalscoring and he has continued the good form under Manuel Pellegrini this term with five goals from 10 league appearances.
In an interview with Kurier, Danijel indicated that his brother still has the ambition of playing in Europe and a transfer could be on the horizon at the turn of the year.
"[A January exit] is possible. It was already very, very close this last summer. He's already playing in the Premier League and that's where the best players are. But for a player like Marko this cannot be the end," he said.
Arnautovic had been earmarked as a probable competitor to Romelu Lukaku upfront at United last summer, but the club decided against making the move amid the Hammers' speculated £50m asking price.
