Chelsea to make January move for Maurizio Sarri favourite?
Chelsea are reportedly planning to revive their transfer interest in Napoli's Elseid Hysaj when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Albania international was regularly linked with a reunion with Maurizio Sarri last summer but a deal never materialised before the transfer deadline.
However, according to The Sun, the Blues could return for the versatile defender at the turn of the year with a £20m bid planned for his services.
Hysaj, who has worked under Sarri at both Empoli and Napoli, has been able to feature on either side of the central defence based on the requirements.
Sarri has stuck with Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso as his preferred options for the right-back and left-back positions respectively this term with barely any rotation.
But the possible arrival of Hysaj may change the manager's mindset while potentially trigger the departure of either Davide Zappacosta or Emerson this winter.
