Spanish midfielder agrees contract terms with Arsenal
Arsenal are reportedly edging closer to securing the signature of Denis Suarez after agreeing contractual terms with the Barcelona midfielder.
The Gunners have been working hard to pursue the Spain international, who has previously plyed his trade under manager Unai Emery at ex-club Sevilla.
According to Marca, the 25-year-old has reached an agreement in terms of the salary package with the Gunners, though the club have yet to finalise any deal with the Blaugrana.
The north London side are currently keen on a temporary deal for Suarez with the obligation to buy in the summer but so far, the Spanish champions have not responded to the proposal on the table.
Suarez has endured a difficult season under manager Ernesto Valverde this term and he has managed just 17 minutes of league action through the first half of the campaign.
Aside from Arsenal, the Spaniard has also been the subject of interest from West Ham United but the midfielder does not seem keen on joining the east London outfit at the moment.
