Tottenham to rule out move for Giuseppe Rossi
Mauricio Pochettino has ruled out a potential move for former Man Utd player Giuseppe Rossi as Tottenham seek a replacement for injured Harry Kane. The striker suffered an injury that will keep him out of action until March at the very earliest.
Rossi, who is available on a free transfer, has suffered with injuries in the past but is currently looking for a return to England and ideally with Spurs.
“There are many names that appear in every transfer window. I think he is another name to add on the list but it is only a rumour. We have not considered him. It’s a rumour like another but if you ask me, I think no, it’s not a possibility," said Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino when asked about a move for the forward.
31-year-old striker Rossi has suffered with injuries himself but is looking for a return back to top-flight football as soon as possible.
