Maurizio Sarri facing Chelsea sack during the international break

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could take the international break as an opportunity to dismiss Maurizio Sarri from the head coach position.
The Blues have endured a mixed campaign in the Premier League and their recent dreaded form on the road has dropped them to sixth in the standings.
According to The Express, Abramovich may consider sacking Sarri from the helm during the break where the club have the chance to appoint a new manager and allow him to settle with the team.
No candidates have been mentioned so far but reports have previously indicated that Gianfranco Zola could be offered the interim role for the season.
Zola has been serving as an assistant manager under Sarri but the Blues favourite could be offered the chance to place his own ideas on the team.
Chelsea are currently sixth in the Premier League table following back-to-back winless games. They are presently three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
