Everton to swoop for Tottenham Hotspur right-back?
Everton are reportedly leading the race to pursue Kieran Trippier from Tottenham Hotspur during this summer's transfer window.
The England international has been regarded as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League over the past few seasons but he has struggled since the turn of the year due to form and fitness concerns.
According to The Sun, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is willing to part ways with the right-sided defender in the summer with Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka identified as the prime option to replace him in the ranks.
It is added that Trippier may have already found a suitor in the form of Everton, who could land him for a relatively affordable price of £20m when the transfer window reopens.
The Toffees have depended on Seamus Coleman and Jonjoe Kenny on the right side of the defence this campaign but neither have sufficiently impressed on both ends of the pitch.
Trippier has contributed one goal and five assists for Spurs this term.
