Liverpool in the race to sign Lyon midfielder?

Liverpool are understood to have agreed personal terms with Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele ahead of a potential move to Anfield at the end of the season.

The Frenchman has been linked with a number of elite European clubs this term, but the Reds appear keen on beating their rivals after making contact with the player's representative.

According to Euro United, the Merseyside giants are understood to have finalised terms over a contract with the midfielder, but they are yet to negotiate a transfer sum with Les Gones.

The same publication suggests that Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur have gone through the same procedure for the Frenchman, who has contributed two goals and seven assists for Les Gones this term.

Jurgen Klopp's side have experienced a fantastic season with significant progress in the Premier League. Their best chance of securing silverware, however, remains in the Champions League where they are scheduled to face Tottenham Hotspur in the final.
