Barcelona ready to sanction Philippe Coutinho's sale?
Barcelona are reportedly contemplating the sale of Philippe Coutinho due to his inconsistent form since joining from Liverpool last year.
The Brazil international signed for the Blaugrana in a deal worth £142m in January 2018 and he has since contributed 21 goals for the club across all competitions.
Despite this, he has been the subject of frequent criticism from the fans due to his limited contribution in the big games and he was recently disappointing against former side Liverpool as the Blaugrana were ousted from the Champions League.
According to ESPN, the recent European disappointment has pushed the club's hierarchy to question their decision to purchase Coutinho and they are now considering whether the playmaker should be made available in the transfer market.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with the 26-year-old attacker in the past, but it remains to be seen whether any of those sides are willing to match the reported £105m asking price.
